      How To Bulk Add Contacts In Google Contacts

      Do you wish to add contacts to your Google Account in bulk, you should know how to do it. This guide will help you.

      You might be aware that in Google Contacts, you can save not only names and email addresses but also phone numbers. The contacts that you save in your Google Account will sync with Google Contacts on all your Android devices. For instance, you can see them on your computer and also on your smartphone.

      Adding A Contact:

      To add the contact details of one person, you will have to go to contacts.google.com on your computer. At the top left, you will find an option called Create Contact. When you click on this, you will have the option to create a single contact. But, if you wish to create contacts in bulk, you will have to click on the option called “Create multiple contacts”.

      Now, enter contact details and click on the save option. Rather than keying all contact details of multiple contacts, you can easily import contacts from a file or a Gmail account. Here is how to do it:

      Import Contact from a File:

      1. Go to contacts.google.com
      2. Click on the option called “Import”. You can find this option on your left side.
      3. Click select file option and select the file for which you wish to import contact details.
      4. Click on the import option.

      You will get bulk contacts imported to your Google Contacts.

      Import from a Google Email:

      1. Export Contacts Already Existing in your Gmail:

      When you wish to import contacts from a Google Email, the first thing you will have to do is to export the existing Gmail Contacts. To do this, here are the steps to follow:

      • Go to contacts.google.com
      • Click on the export button that you can find at the top of the page above your contact details.
      • Now, the screen will prompt you to select the contacts that you wish to export
      • Choose Google CSV before you click the export option.
      • At the top right, click on your profile and then click sign out.

      2. Import the File

      • Go to contacts.google.com and sign in with your other Gmail account from which you wish to import contacts.
      • On the left, you will find the import option.
      • Click the option called “Select file”
      • Choose the contacts you wish to import
      • Finally, click import.
